Portrait Fees

Depending on size, number of subjects, and medium (oil or pastel), fees range from fast pastel portraits at $200 to pastel portraits at $500 and up and oil portraits at $800 and up.

The Making of a Portrait

Oil and Pastel Portraits are rendered from a favorite photograph, from a series of photographs taken by the artist, or from a live sitting. The artist may use several photos to make a group portrait. A sketch or sketches to show composition is made for your approval preceding the final work.
